The Main Approaches to Organization of Educational Process for Gifted Students in Educational Institutions of the USA

Abstract: At the present stage of social development, the problems of education come to the fore. The top priorities are the issues related to the study of talented youth, educational support for gifted students, the organization of effective educational process for gifted students, as they are the intellectual potential of developed countries. This article gives an analysis of the notion of pedagogical support of gifted and talented students. The objectives of pedagogical support have been considered, the conditions under which educational support can be carried out most effectively have been determined. The main approaches to the organization of educational process for gifted students in educational institutions of the United States have been identified on the basis of the analysis of works of foreign researchers. It was found out that to be able to implement the main strategies of working with gifted students successfully, the teacher should master modern educational technologies, specific teaching methods and techniques have creative thinking and the capacity to self-development.
