Social-Humanitarian Disciplines in the Technical University Students: Trends and Generalization of the Experience

Abstract: Theoretical and practical aspects of the place of the humanities in the training of technical university students were discussed in the article. The basic roles of humanitarian education in a technical university were determined. The characteristics and trends of modern humanitarian education and their specificity in the training of future engineers were considered. Examples of manifestations of the trends of modern educational space in the teaching of social and humanitarian disciplines in a technical university were given and as a result of the experience of education of the humanities at the academy were generalized.
