Abstract: At the current stage of society development, the preparation of specialists in the construction industry is of the great importance. Such specialists should be armed with engineering thinking, able to solve problems related to any manufacturing situation quickly and efficiently. The organization of training process in higher educational institutions provides a solid background for future specialists in the field of civil engineering. The article deals with such fundamental concepts of training process as methods and forms of training process organization. Methods and forms of training are important elements of integrated didactic system, since they are included in the structure of one of the most important components of the training process – organizational-activity. The efficiency of the training process depends on the selected methods and forms of training organization. These two categories are linked in a dialectical relationship. Comparative analysis of the main methods and forms used in traditional and distance learning has shown that these methods and forms include all kinds of pedagogical interaction of teachers and students, such as an internal contact and an interactive dialogue.
