Cultural Hegemony and the Ideal Foundation of the State: the Analysis of The Marxist Theory of Intellectuals
Abstract: The Marxist theory of intellectuals emphasizes the special role of the intellectuals in the social transformation process. The intellectuals perform the function of legitimation and de-legitimation of social structures, forming and deforming its ideal bases. In Neomarxism of Antonio Gramsci indicates the role of the intellectuals in the process of gaining of social class the cultural hegemony that can be demonstrated by the example of the revolution of 1917 in the Russian Empire.
