Investigation of Physical and Mechanical Properties of Ash Materials of Zuevka TPP
Abstract: The analysis of the feasibility of the use of secondary resources (waste products) in road construction has been carried out. It was found that the thermal power plant dumps are a source of pollution of air and water and increased salinity of groundwater, and therefore the problem of disposal of ash and slag waste is relevant for the economy and for the environment of the region. The physical and mechanical properties of ash materials of Zuevka TPP have been examined. It has been found out the possibility of their use as structural layers of pavements of roads to cover all types of supported strengthening Portland. The compositions of ash mixtures, reinforced cement have been determined.
