Estimation of the Stress-Strain State of Steel Crane Girders Taking into Account Defects and Damages
Abstract: In the presented article, the authors analyzed the existing methods for determining the stress-strain state of crane girders. Most of the existing methods focus on the development and adoption of design solutions to ensure the reliability and durability of crane structures. The considered methods for estimating the stress-strain state of structures take into account the influence of one imperfection. Analysis of reports on the inspection of steel crane structures revealed the probability of combinations of defects. As a result, it is determined that there is no technique for determining the stress-strain state of crane girders, which reflects the actual state of crane structures with all significant defects and damages taken into account.
