The Problem of Preservation and Modern use Historical Development 1869–1917 in the City of Donetsk

Abstract: The article considers the problem connected with the preservation and use of historic buildings and structures, 1869–1917 in the city of Donetsk. Preservation of buildings having architectural and historical value, is an important aspect of the formation of the modern architectural appearance of the city. The existing regulatory system of cities of Donetsk does not contain clear requirements concerning the use of historical buildings in the city. Therefore, in the present condition of many buildings (especially pre-revolutionary period) on this site has a number of architectural and urban problems. This area and buildings on it in need of preservation and use in modern conditions. The main components of the problems of preservation and use of historic buildings and structures, 1869–1917 in the city of Donetsk.
