Abstract: Astringent based on freshly ground blast furnace slag, closed with sodium disilicate, has an unacceptably short setting time, 3…15 minutes, it is reduced with an increase in the density of sodium disilicate. Additives of fly ash and TPP slag in the amount of up to 80 % allow to obtain astringent activity of 30…80 MPa, which is 60…70 % of the strength of non-additive binders. At the same time, the setting time is increased to 35…45 minutes.
