The Change in the Emission of Pollutants Depending on the Architectural and Technical Characteristics of Buildings under Construction
Abstract: The article examined the change in the quantity of pollutant emissions at a construction site with increasing height of buildings. The factors that influence the quantity of emissions in the construction process are determined. Here are the results of calculations of gross emissions in the implementation of excavation, road construction equipment, welding, metal machining, painting and finishing work for objects of different heights and building area. We have established mathematical dependences of the mass of emissions on the height of a construction object and its area.
Keywords: environmental safety, construction, height of buildings, air pollution, gross emissions, earthworks, construction operations.
