Analysis of Factors Affecting the Rational Choice of Hydraulic Lifts

Abstract: The article deals with issues related to improving the efficiency of hydraulic lifts at the construction site. The basic tendencies of development of this load-lifting equipment are defined. The classification of hydraulic lifts depending on the type of working (boom) equipment is is determined. Three types of lift are accepted as objects of research: cranked, telescopic and cranked-telescopic. To assess the effectiveness of hydraulic lifts, the following parameters were determined: the indicator of assessment of material capacity of the lifting height; the generalized indicator of material capacity, energy intensity and service area; specific productivity. A comparative analysis of the calculation results of the load stability coefficients for the three types of hydraulic lifts is carried out. On the basis of the carried out researches the most effective type of a design of a hydraulic lift is defined. Thus, the article is substantiated the recommendations for the rational choice of hydraulic lifts based on the assessment of their performance.
