Socio-Economic Efficiency of the Construction of Social Services in the Areas of Compact Residence of the Blind

Abstract: The article is devoted to the socio-economic efficiency of creating social services for the visually impaired. Attention is paid to the historically formed areas of compact residence of the blind in the Kalininsky district of the city of Donetsk and the Central City district of the city of Makeyevka, as well as the main residential and infrastructure facilities that are in an unsatisfactory condition and the established network of social services, which currently time does not meet the standards of adaptation to the needs of the blind and visually impaired, needs reorganization and reconstruction. The prevailing conditions suggest the need to create complexes of social and domestic services within the districts and justify their socio-economic efficiency.
