Abstract: This article is devoted to the problem of recultivation of disturbed areas of sand pits, which is relevant for the Donetsk region as a major industrial center. The authors consider the current state of disturbed areas of quarries. The possibilities of increasing the territory of recreational destination during the reclamation of sand pits are considered.
