Work Processes of a Crane-Manipulator with a Grab Bucket, Equipped with a Drive Screw Anchor
Abstract: The article presents an analysis of the effect of crane-manipulator parameters on the process of soil development by a grab bucket. The results of an experimental study show that a design with a driven screw anchor increases the development efficiency of 3–4 categories of soil, increases the digging depth, increases the bucket filling ratio and productivity. Comparing the pressure force developed by the CMU and the resistance of the soil to the introduction of the jaws of the grab bucket, we obtained the dependence of the maximum possible depth of the jaws, determined the influence of the parameters of the CMU on the process of the introduction of the jaws into the soil.
