Abstract: This article discusses a mathematical apparatus that describes the flow of a jet stream on a hard surface. The theoretical and empirical studies of the authors in the field of application of the Coanda effect are analyzed. The dependence of the occurrence of the Coanda effect on the angle of the jet on a solid surface and the ratio of the geometric parameters of a rectangular nozzle are considered, and the method of intensification when the stream flows through the nozzle is considered. Various heating and ventilation devices that use the Coanda effect are considered. It is necessary to study various air distribution nozzles to select the most appropriate designs and save energy on providing the working area with supply air, as well as to achieve the most comfortable microclimate in the working area of the premises, including production rooms with a height of six or more meters, which leads to multizonality when setting parameters microclimate.

Keywords: air flow, Coanda effect, air distribution, microclimate.
