Economic Efficiency of Reinforced Concrete Constructions and Design Conception of Industrial Buildings
Abstract: It is necessary to anticipate priority-oriented economically viable elaboration of design conception in industrial construction. Best practice in the field of construction points to the need for developing advanced high-strength or high-duty structures, which should further enhance in the industrialization of prefabrication, in addition to reducing the material consumption of them. Attention should be paid to the usage of lightweight expanded aggregates and hollow concretes. Development of metallurgy in Donbas gives priority to the usage of foamed lightweight concretes, made of molten blast furnace slag. The selection of the optimal space-planning decisions for buildings and structures, which is related to the identification and assessment of the main technical-and-economic index (construction costs, operating costs, etc.), should be closely connected with the economically viable elaboration of design conception. Therefore, the selection of a specific space-planning decision for an industrial building should be fully substantiated by economic calculation.
