Abstract: The development of both spatial and design arrangement of buildings should be the top priority in industrial building construction. Special attention should be paid to the use of new types of buildings for various purposes, which should reduce the time of construction, reduce the cost and labor intensity of construction and operating costs, improve the architectural qualities of the objects that are being built, and meet the requirements for environmental protection. In each case it is necessary to select one of a number of alternatives for spatial and design arrangements. First of all, it is necessary to decide whether it is appropriate to implement the method that is considered during the construction of the planned object, use the proposed equipment, delivery of structures and materials, etc. It is necessary to determine the cost-effective sequence and timing of these methods.

Keywords: efficiency, optimum alternative, cost advantage, reduced costs, capital investments.
