About Expediency of Reuse of Old Asphalt Concrete

Abstract: Incomplete financing of the road industry leads to the search for new opportunities for the use of secondary materials and waste that are formed during the repair of road clothing and road surfaces. The use of these materials will save new expensive building material, as well as solve the problem of waste disposal during repairs. Every year, a million tons of old asphalt concrete are removed when repairing roads. Studies have shown the possibility of its use as a basic material in the preparation of new mixtures and repair work of the road surface of roads and city streets. Transport and operational properties of coatings repaired with the use of old milled asphalt concrete show compliance with regulatory requirements.
