Assessment of the Wind Comfort of the Territory when Compacting Residential Buildings with a High-Rise Building
Abstract: The article deals with issues related to the reconstruction of urban territories by compacting existing buildings with high rise buildings. The wind in this paper is considered as a negative phenomenon that occurs with certain architectural and planning errors. Wind comfort in the article is reflected by the Beaufort scale and also adopted in the Netherlands by the NEN 8100 standard, published in 2006. The Beaufort scale gives an estimate of the wind effects on a person on a 9-point scale, and according to the standard NEN 8100, wind comfort is presented in the range from class A to class E. Analysis of existing studies showed that the problem of wind behavior in development is considered by many researchers, but the issue of wind very little attention is paid to the comfort after reconstruction of existing buildings. The article assesses wind comfort, analyzes existing approaches to regulating the wind regime and building aeration, and reveals the prerequisites for further research.
