Prospects for the Formation of Recreational Complexes in the Cities of the Donetsk Region

Abstract: The article discusses the relevance and prospects of the formation of recreational complexes in the cities of the Donetsk region. The analysis of existing natural resources on the basis of which it is possible to organize recreational complexes, as well as landscape architecture objects for the implementation of short-term recreation of the city population. Analysis of the current system of recreational activities in the Donbass allows us to draw conclusions about its inconsistency with modern requirements, including sanitary, hygienic, functional and architectural and artistic aspects. As a result of the work, the most suitable territories for the placement of recreational complexes were identified. The study also showed that today there is a need for the rational use of natural resources on the territory of the Donetsk-Makeevka agglomeration to meet the recreational needs of residents within the city and residential area.
