A Generalized Concept for Creating a Bus Station with a Seasonal Shift Function for the Donbass Region

Abstract: The article considers the problem of organizing a modern bus station in the resort marine center and the cities of «green tourism» in Donetsk region. As an example, the urbanized settlement was Sedovo, Donetsk Oblast, and the DPR. A significant drawback of this territory is the active seasonal operation, which affects the condition and appearance of the bus station and other main public service facilities. Based on this problem, the main levels of architectural and planning reorganization, renovation and design of a new solution for the territory and object of study were identified and proposed. Recommendations on the optimal ways to solve the problem of constructing a large bus station building on the territory of seasonal operation have been identified and given, namely, options for applying the new approach, which has been defined as a «seasonal shift function» at all levels of the architectural and planning organization of a bus station.
