Justification of Rational Parameters of the Metal Structure of the Boom of the Auto-Hydraulic Lift in the Process of Service Area Increasing
Abstract: The article deals with the issues of ensuring the strength characteristics of the metal structure of the boom of an auto-hydraulic lift with an increase in the service area. Based on the analysis of the design features of the boom equipment of hydraulic lifts, the main trends in the development of this lifting equipment are determined. It is proposed to perform the upper boom of the crank lift with a telescopically extendable section, which will increase the height of the cradle lift. Numerical analysis of the stress-strain state of the main and upgraded boom of the lift is performed in the Compass-3D APM FEM: Strength analysis software environment. According to the results of loading the lift, the highest stress concentrations and maximum deformations in the boom are revealed. The analysis of the effect of the arrangement of diaphragms on the bending strength of the boom is performed. Rational parameters of the upper boom with a telescopically extended section are determined.
