Architectural and Urban Planning Formation of Transport and Logistics Centers on the Basis of Large Railway Station Complexes, Taking into Account the Specifics of the Donetsk Region

Abstract: The article considers the factors and conditions, the analysis of which determines the current requirements for the architectural and urban development of transport and logistics centers based on the existing large railway complexes in the cities of the Donetsk region. The existing scientific and normative-legal literature sources are studied and considered for the presence of taking into account the specifics of the regions under consideration. Examples of international experience in designing transport and logistics centers are considered. Typological, technological, geopolitical, urban planning, natural-climatic, geolandscape, normative-legal, socio-economic, demographic and historical-cultural features of the Donetsk region are studied, which determine the issues of urban-situational, functional-planning, volume-spatial and compositional-artistic nature. The requirements necessary for compliance with the architectural and urban planning formation of transport and logistics centers based on the reconstruction of railway complexes in the Donetsk region are formulated.
