Formation of the Architectural Environment of Recreational Areas of the City

Abstract: The article is devoted to the current problem of the formation of the architectural environment of the recreational zones of an industrial city. The problematics of the organization of places free from development and allocated for the social needs of the population is considered on the example of the structural organization of small industrial towns in the Donetsk region. The main tasks of organizing recreational zones in cities are given, taking into account their functional orientation and the needs of the population of the city or residential area. The ways of expanding the subject-spatial environment of urban design that are relevant in the modern world are revealed. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign experience in designing polyfunctional architectural and subject content and organizing the city environment in the conditions of urbanization, techniques and methods for improving and harmonizing the architectural environment of recreational areas in urban areas were identified. And also examples of the most successful, according to the author, projects for organizing green areas in the structure of the city were considered.
