Abstract: The article considers the main factors affecting the architecture of cultivation facilities: the environment, the innovative technologies used in the design and subsequent cultivation, architectural and structural systems. Donbass is an industrial region, and therefore the issue of the disrupted area is acute in our region. Disturbed anthropogenic territories are damaged lands with a negative impact on the environment, which have lost their natural and economic value due to negative human impact. Many requirements are not taken into account in the restoration of basic functions in the environment, such as energy balance, hydrological characteristics and other problems including biological balance that supports the habitats of biological species and the stability of landscapes. In this regard, the issue of designing cultivation facilities using disturbed areas (terricones) is being considered, as it is an essential task for an industrial region. The task is feasible with a very subtle approach, developing the project at all levels, taking into account all norms and requirements. To achieve positive results, it is necessary to take into account the versatility of the project, environmental friendliness and comfort in usage.

Keywords: terricone, cultivation buildings and structures, land reclamation, disturbed lands, typology of crop production facilities, design of vertical farms.
