Chicago School of Architecture: uses of Steel Framework
Abstract: The scientific work is devoted to the study of the «Chicago School of Architecture», which is based on the use of a steel frame. The increase in the structural and engineering component of the formal part to the detriment of the decorative and «ornamental» in artificially created organisms of architecture, sculpture, painting and design is considered, analyzed and recorded. The work analyzes the development of the «Chicago school of architecture» and examines its key concepts and principles. The authors of the work turn to historical research, study of design solutions and analysis of the influence of the Chicago style on modern architectural trends. This scientific work represents a significant contribution to the study of the history of architecture and its influence on various fields of art and design. Studying the «Chicago School of Architecture» provides an opportunity to better understand its contribution to the development of architecture and its significance in the context of modernity. Provides essential educational information and inspires new generations of architects, artists and designers to explore and apply the values and principles of this school in their projects.
