Calculation of the Insulation Requirements for Decoupling when Installing Flat Roofs using the Author’s Calculation Method
Abstract: This article discusses the incorrect device of decoupling on flat roofs, as well as the irrational calculation of materials when installing a flat roof. In the first variant, a flat roof with different slopes leading to a receiving funnel is considered, and it has been proven that discrepancies in the calculations of the needs of materials made according to geometric parameters can be significant, both in the negative and in the positive direction. In the second variant, a flat roof with equal slopes leading to a receiving funnel is considered, and it has been proven that it is incorrect to count the volume of material according to geometric parameters and discrepancies can be significant, both in the negative and in the positive direction.
