Abstract: The article discusses the issues of determining moisture fields in concrete associated with uneven drying. It is shown that autogenic shrinkage, as well as the physico-mechanical and rheological properties of concrete in the volume of the element, are heterogeneous and depend on temperature and humidity gradients, and this effect is especially pronounced in high-strength modified concretes. The connection between the heterogeneity of concrete properties and the large-scale effect is noted. It is noted that the existing norms and standards do not cover the methods of constructing humidity fields in the structure, which makes it necessary to build a methodology for these tests. Various methods of measuring humidity and temperature in concrete, their advantages and disadvantages have been studied. A method is proposed for the correct determination of temperature and humidity fields by volume of concrete and reinforced concrete elements using dielectric moisture meters with planar and deep needle sensors.

Keywords: scale factor, autogenic shrinkage, humidity fields, high-strength concretes.
