Quality and Competitiveness of Ceramic Floor Tiles Sold in the Trading Company Soroka LLC, Donetsk

Abstract: The article considers the features of the implementation of ceramic tiles for the installation of clean floors in residential premises. A comparative description of the main properties of ceramic tiles with average water absorption, no more than 6 % by weight, class A chemical resistance, class 3 wear resistance, with high quality of the front surface of the ceramic plants «Voronezh Ceramics», the Kirov plant, and the Volgograd Ceramic Plant is made. According to the expert assessment of the proposed samples of ceramic floor tiles presented for sale in the Soroka LLC store in Donetsk, the highest competitiveness indicator was received by the ceramic floor tiles received from Voronezh Ceramics (Voronezh), in second place was the Kirovskaya Ceramics enterprise (plant in Kirov (Kirov region)), in third place was the Volgograd Ceramic Plant (VKZ) in Volgograd. The issues of demand for ceramic floor tiles in the context of economic development of the Russian Federation under sanctions are considered. For this purpose, an assessment of the competitiveness of ceramic floor tiles sold in a specific retail enterprise was carried out. Recommendations are given for increasing the competitiveness of ceramic tiles, and, consequently, increasing the profits of this enterprise.
