Socio-Architectural Trends in the Development of Residential and Economic Complexes
Abstract: The article analyzes and synthesizes scholarly works on architectural sociology, examining socio-oriented issues that impact the architectural practice of designing housing in rural areas. Foundational anthropological, semiotic, and natural-climatic aspects of folk dwellings that influence rural architecture have been formulated. Through the study of folk housing architecture, various factors affecting the development of rural housing can be identified. Trends and approaches in socio-architectural science focused on rural areas have been determined. Designing housing with consideration for social data is a direction that supports the relevance of rural development. Social modeling of housing in rural areas can also be based on an analysis of the existing scientific foundation of architectural studies in urban housing. Identified anthropological, semiotic, and natural-climatic aspects help reveal a comprehensive socio-oriented picture influencing contemporary rural architecture.
