Analysis of the Tourist Infrastructure Historical Settlement on the Example of Samara
Abstract: The study is devoted to the analysis of the tourist infrastructure of a historical settlement using the example of the city of Samara. The article provides a classification of tourist infrastructure facilities, as well as an analysis of the availability of similar facilities within the boundaries of Samara. The area dedicated to working with temporary tourist accommodation facilities is currently the most cost-effective, especially when working in areas of active tourist flow. However, it also has certain limitations related to the architectural and planning structure of the city, as well as work with cultural heritage sites. Russia’s national projects, such as «Creating a comfortable urban environment», «Culture» and «Tourism and the Hospitality Industry», provide great financial support and are aimed at developing the tourism industry, as well as the related services market, which indicates the relevance of these areas. In accordance with this, the article highlights the main methods of working with the adaptation or reconstruction of buildings for tourist accommodation, accompanied by examples from world practice. Comprehensive approaches to working with the historical environment were also presented: maximum preservation and integration of all historical and cultural strata into the settlement system with a return to the original planning structure, using the example of the Xianfeng community in China; A modern interpretation of the historical center with the inclusion of prototypes of cultural heritage buildings, including the development of a new planning structure, inscribed in the context of the environment, using the example of the Zaanstad community in the city of Zaandam, the Netherlands.
