Abstract: The paper discusses the role and the importance of upbringing as an integral part of teaching activity in higher education, specifically at higher technical schools. The problems concerning the forms and organization of upbringing at higher technical schools as well as the conditions for these challenges implementation are considered. The integrity of upbringing and education in training engineers is being proved and analyzed. The system of arrangements and upbringing at the Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture is described. The best practices of upbringing activities introduced at the given higher school are given.
