Estimation of the Properties of Some Blowing Agents for Foam Concrete of Non-Autoclave Hardening

Abstract: This article presents a comparative analysis of the properties of foaming agents «PO-6 NP» and «Etalon». The indexes of the multiplicity and stability of foams at various concentrations of foaming agents are obtained, the results indicate the suitability of foams for the production of non-autoclaved foam concrete. The effect of plasticizing additives «Glenium 115» and «Sika Mix Plus» on the multiplicity and stability of foams has been studied. The plasticizer «Sika Mix Plus» can be used as an additive for a foam solution «Etalon». The plasticizer «Glenium 115» deteriorates the characteristics of the foam «PO-6 NP», and in the case of the foam solution «Etalon» it has a defoaming effect, therefore it can not be used as an additive for the production of foam concrete of non-autoclaved hardening with these foam concentrates.
