The Relevance of the use of Fiber-Reinforced Concrete in Modern Construction
Abstract: In this article, the experience of using fibrobeton in foreign and domestic construction, as well as an analysis of recent research and publications. As an example, a complex coating panel made of steel fiber concrete is presented. The manufacture of a complex panel with fiber-reinforced reinforcement allows you to reduce the weight of the panel by 35 % compared with the reinforced concrete option. The types and properties of reinforcing fibers, and their advantages. According to the results of the article, it was revealed that the use of fiber-reinforced concrete in modern construction is in sought-after. Since its use reduces the complexity and energy consumption, it allows to reduce the consumption of concrete and steel. Which in turn affects the technical and economic indicators.
