Optimum Pavement Designs of City Streets and Public Roads for High Traffic Conditions

Abstract: The paper analyzes the problem of insufficient resource coverage of public roads and city streets, which are operated in conditions with high traffic flow intensity. Variants of pavement structures of the capital type for an estimated load of 130 kN using local stone materials are proposed. The influence of the number of applications of the design load on the required thickness of the structural layers of the pavement has been investigated.
