Abstract: Thermomechanical properties of refractory aluminosilicate liquid-glass binders with hardeners based on thermally activated kaolin and chamotte-kaolin dust were investigated. It is established that the chamotte-kaolin dust plays an active structure-forming role both at heating of aluminosilicate binders, and at high temperatures. Compared with thermally activated kaolin, the use of chamotte-kaolin dust as a hardener for aluminosilicate refractory binders allows improving their thermomechanical properties.

Keywords: aluminosilicate binders, liquid glass, thermally activated kaolin, chamotte-kaolin dust, and thermomechanical properties.
