Historical, Cultural and Social Prerequisites for the Formation of Rehabilitation Centers for Locomotor Therapy in the Cities of Donbass

Abstract: This article discusses the historical and cultural background influencing the formation of rehabilitation centers for locomotor therapy for subsequent analysis and use in the master’s thesis. When considering the prerequisites, an analysis of the existing institutions of this type is carried out for the further introduction of the most successful techniques in the design and construction of regional rehabilitation centers for locomotor therapy. Attention is focused on the stages of the formation of the environment for rehabilitation and improving the quality of life of people with disabilities. Based on the data obtained, the historical and cultural stages of the formation of rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities are structured and analyzed.
