Analysis of Buildings and Territories of Cultural Institutions of the City of Donetsk for Convenience of Orientation and Movement of People with Limited Mobility

Abstract: This article is devoted to the analysis of buildings and territories of cultural institutions of the city of Donetsk for the convenience of orientation and movement of people with limited mobility. The authors provide an analysis of the territories of the palaces of the cultural centers of an industrial city with regard to their degree of accessibility for all categories of the population, including the disabled and physically weakened people of advanced age. To solve this social problem, in-depth theoretical studies and field surveys of the territories of such institutions in the city will be required. Based on the results of the research done, an appropriate conclusion is made about the necessity and desirability of taking appropriate measures to adapt the buildings and territories of cultural institutions, taking into account the possibility of visiting them with disabilities and other limited mobility groups.
