Abstract: The behavior of various reagents for the deposition of lead from wastewater was studied. It was shown that for the complete deposition of lead, an excess of the amount of precipitant is necessary compared with the theoretical one, which depends on the type of reagent and the concentration of lead in the solution. Equations are derived that relate the excess of precipitant volume from the concentration of hydrofluoride electrolyte in aqueous solutions. It was shown that the deposition process at a solution pH of about 9.5-10 ensures complete deposition of lead from the solution and shows an excess of the precipitating reagent when compared to theoretical. This makes it possible to apply these indicators in practice for wastewater treatment from lead compounds.
