Problems of Forming a Network of Animal Shelters in an Industrial City

Abstract: In this article, at a city-planning level, a detailed analysis of the placement of a network of animal shelters in the structure of an industrial city is given [1, 2, 3]. In the process of studying the issue, the main factors of the formation of the existing network of animal shelters in an industrial city were also identified. To analyze the basic prerequisites and identify factors in the formation of animal shelters in an industrial city, the following are considered: the industry specifics of the city of Donetsk, its existing planning structure and industrial potential of its enterprises, as well as socio-demographic trends in the context of changes in the composition of the population and the main categories of the population of this city. The publication also pays attention to the consideration of the existing legal and regulatory framework for the design of animal shelter facilities, as well as the analysis of this base, taking into account compliance with modern requirements. In conclusion, it is concluded that it is advisable to form animal shelters in the structure of an industrial city in a territory located in a conveniently located place.
