Development of Recreational Zones of the City of Donetsk

Abstract: This article is devoted to the problem of the development of recreational areas, which is relevant for the Donetsk region as a large industrial center. This article outlines the main directions for improving the ecological state of the city of Donetsk through the development and restoration of disturbed territories. The state of recreational (resort) zones located in the territory of Donetsk People’s Republic and in the city of Donetsk in particular is considered. Various ways of solving the problem of developing recreational lands from the point of view of not only their rational use, but also improve the environmental situation in the region are presented. The tasks of expanding the existing possibilities of recreational lands by searching for new recreational objects, their popularization and carrying out a number of measures to expand, preserve and restore the natural and cultural monuments of the region are determined.
