Abstract: The scientific work is devoted to the study and development of principles and techniques for the organization of social residential buildings based on hexagonal modules, in order to improve comfort, as well as improve architectural solutions. The following important tasks are solved in the work: analysis of various geometric shapes; identification of the advantages of a hexagon (hexagon) for use as a basis for the organization of social residential buildings; study of the functional planning organization of residential premises, identification of the main functional areas. Particular attention is paid to the development of architectural solutions, as well as the principles of organization of social residential buildings based on hexagonal modules. Also, options for the formation of residential structures are proposed. Based on the results of the studies, a corresponding conclusion is drawn about the need to take into account the processes of family life in the organization of social residential buildings, as well as the feasibility of using hexagonal modules, which in turn meet all the requirements for social residential buildings.
