Abstract: The stability of hazardous production facilities is the state of protection of the vital interests of the individual and society from accidents at hazardous production facilities and the occurrence of emergency situations at these facilities. The article reveals the main problems of sustainability that exist on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic at the stages from design to the commissioning of hazardous production facilities. The main solutions to stability problems due to a systematic approach at the stage of their design, construction, commissioning and operation in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and legislative acts are given.
