Abstract: The article is devoted to the problem of the connection between the internal spaces of modern buildings and the external environment. Comprehensive research has been carried out, features of the design of interior architectural spaces of interiors in public buildings have been studied. To determine them, the methods of theoretical-analytical and comparison were used. The methods of constructing the volumetric form of a building based on the system of its internal spaces, grouping the volumes of the building are identified The problems of interconnection of the interior spaces of modern buildings with the external environment have been investigated. On the basis of this, the principles of taking into account the functional significance of the objects under study and the unity of the composition are formulated. The main principles and requirements for the formation of a subject-spatial environment in the design of public buildings are indicated and formulated. The article studies the design features of interior architectural spaces of interiors in public buildings, highlights the basic principles of creating an artificial interior space.
