Concepts for Creating a Multifunctional Environment in School Buildings

Abstract: The article deals with the concepts of creating a multifunctional environment in school buildings. The algorithm of the conceptual approach to the formation of the architectural environment of schools is considered. Today, the number of specialized educational institutions in the modern school network has increased. New teaching subjects are emerging, which entails a different level of preparation and class structure and, as a result, requires new concepts to form the school building as a whole. Special attention is paid to the development of multifunctional organization of school buildings. The article highlights the issues of constructing various architectural concepts and trends, the formation of a multifunctional school environment, since the new model of education should satisfy the needs of present and future generations of mankind. The conclusion is drawn on the need for new approaches for the implementation of fundamental changes in existing trends in the design of multifunctional school buildings.
